Fairbanks Morse® Magneto

The Lincoln "Pipeliner" model SA200 (P/N K6090) used the four-cylinder Continental F-162 and F-163 engines. The most popular magneto found on these machines is the Fairbanks Morse® model FMXA4B-16A magneto. The advantages are that the engine does need an electrical system for reliable ignition and the machine can be "hand-started." The disadvantages are the high maintenance costs and the availability of repair parts.

If you have a Continental F-162 or F-163, our electronic ignition upgrade kit allows you to easily upgrade your engine to a fully electronic ignition, eliminating the need for the magneto and thus worries about magneto failure. Get more information.

Magnetos are scarce components.  Call for availability.
