THE SPOOL GUN YOU WILL USE THE REST OF YOUR LIFE?

One of the most useful items in your shop is the "mig spool gun". If you only have a constant current ("stick-welder") and want to weld aluminum you can update with the AEC-200 gun. With this gun system you can easily weld aluminum.

The AEC-200-36 spool gun with the AEC-200-3A control box allows the spool gun to be used on a constant current power supply that does not have a contactor. This unit is a excellent spool gun upgrade for engine driven welders with 120 VAC auxiliary power. One complete system; nothing else to purchase-ready to weld, right out of the box!

This unit is designed for the welding of aluminum. It cannot be used to "short-arc" weld steel. Stainless steel, low carbon steel, and other non-ferrous metals can be welded in a "spray mode" with this system.
