One of the most useful items in your shop is the "mig spool gun".  This is a mig wire feeder and mig gun in your hand! With this gun you can easily weld, aluminum, stainless steel, carbon steel, aluminum bronze, silicone bronze, or any filler metal on a 4" spool. If you have a special application you can always spool a small amount of wire for a special job.

The Revolution spool gun unique in the "retro-fit" spool gun market. It attached directly to your Snap-On Muscle Migs (and most  Systematics) mig welders. It requires no adapter or separate gun  power supply-just "PLUG & WELD!

If you purchase a spool gun from Miller, Lincoln, Esab, Hobart, OTC, Century, Snap-On, or any of the "majors"; the gun will only work with their machines. The Revolution Spool gun is designed to feed 025/030 wire. It can weld 035 aluminum wire in limited duty cycle applications. It is idea for mig welding of thinner materials; aluminum, steel, stainless steel, copper, aluminum bronze, and silicon bronze alloys. 150 amps in argon gas. The Phoenix Spool gun is designed to feed 025/030/035 wire. It can weld 3/64" aluminum wire in limited duty cycle applications. It is idea for mig welding of thicker materials; aluminum, steel, stainless steel, copper, aluminum bronze, and silicon bronze alloys. 200 amps in argon, 230 amps in CO2.
Both the revolution and Phoenix spool guns are designed to retrofit to almost any mig welder. You have bought and paid for you mig welder and now need to mig weld aluminum or have the versatility of a spool gun. If your local supplier does have a spool gun that will work with your mig; how much will it cost and how much trouble to adapt it?

3.  The Weldmart spool guns use the industry standard four inch spools of wire available anywhere!  Aluminum, mild steel, stainless steel, copper, silicone-bronze, aluminum-bronze and many more alloys are available on these "standard size spools". Many suppliers use only "proprietary-oddball" spool design that locks you into expensive OEM wire supply. Ask your supplier's salesperson where wire for their gun can be purchased? If only from them; enquire as to the weight of the wire (don't be confused with length of wire on a spool-it is a ruse). How many pounds of wire is on the OEM spool-how much does it cost per pound, once you have bought their gun-they've got you!
